Manchester United’s winning streak continued on Monday as they took advantage of West Ham’s early sending off to win 2-0. This made it an impressive seven wins on the bounce for Manchester United, and in all competitions they are now unbeaten in 13 matches.

At Old Trafford it looks even better for them, with them winning nine and drawing four of the 13 matches since their only defeat of the season against Manchester City. This has seen them close the gap on the Premier League top four, but now their attentions turn towards the two upcoming domestic cup matches against Reading and Hull.

Reading managed to make it three wins on the bounce with their thrilling 3-2 win at Bristol City on Monday. This game saw them come back from two goals behind to score three in the final 20 minutes, leaving them 3rd in the Championship, with six points now separating them from the automatic promotion places.

That victory made it eight wins and two defeats for Reading in their last ten games in all competitions, although away from home they understandably struggle a bit more. They have won four, drawn one, and lost four of their last nine on the road, including a 4-1 thrashing at Brentford and a 5-0 hammering at Fulham. Their tendency to collapse when they go behind will be worrying them at this moment in time.

For our goalscorer predictions it’s hard to ignore Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish legend scored his 13th Premier League goal of the season on Monday and has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season. He has scored ten goals in his last ten games in all competitions and has only failed to find the back of the net in two of these, so even at odds of 8/15 he looks a good bet to score anytime. Another option is Anthony Martial, who looked stunning against Middlesbrough at the weekend and comes in at 1/1.

Both of these teams have been involved in some high scoring games recently. There have been 18 goals in Reading’s last six away games, and three of those have seen at least four goals scored. Three of Manchester United’s last six at home have seen at least four goals too, with another one having three goals by the final whistle. Reading have only seen two of their last six end with fewer than three goals too, making odds of 1.850 for Over 3.0 Goal Line look a good value bet. I’m going for that along with a 3-1 win for Manchester United at 10/1 for my correct score predictions.
